Metalok Industries collects only the information you choose to send through our enquiry forms, WhatsApp or email: your name, company, contact details and the technical details of your requirement.
How we use it
To prepare quotations, technical clarifications and order documents.
To send certificates, dispatch details and after-sales communication.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
Storage
Enquiries are kept in our sales records for as long as needed for commercial and statutory purposes. Drawings and specifications you share are treated as confidential and used only for your enquiry.
Your choices
Write to sales@metalokindustries.com to update or delete your details. This website stores your RFQ list only in your own browser so it stays between visits.
Terms of supply
Quotations
Quotations are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the specification, quantity and material grade given in the enquiry.
Prices & taxes
Domestic prices are ex-works Mumbai, exclusive of GST and freight. Export prices are quoted EXW, FOB Nhava Sheva or CIF as agreed.
Payment
Payment terms are as per the order acknowledgement. For new export customers, advance or LC at sight is standard.
Delivery
Lead times run from receipt of a technically and commercially clear order and advance (where applicable). Stock items are typically dispatched within days; custom sizes and exotic alloys follow the confirmed schedule.
Inspection
Buyer or third-party inspection at our works is welcome with advance notice. Charges for third-party agencies are to the buyer's account unless agreed.
Quality & traceability policy
Metalok Industries operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system covering design review, procurement, machining, inspection and dispatch.
Raw material is purchased from approved mills with original mill certificates.
Every plug and fitting is marked with the Metalok name, material grade and heat number for full traceability.
Threads are gauged and sealing faces are inspected to the specified finish (63 RMS on header plug gasket seats).
EN 10204 3.1 certificates are supplied with every consignment; 3.2 on request.
Non-conforming product is quarantined, recorded and never dispatched.
Export & shipping
We supply customers in India and in export markets.
Packing
Threads and sealing faces are protected with caps; parts are individually bagged or boxed by size.
Export cartons and seaworthy wooden boxes are heat-treated (ISPM-15) where required.
Each box is labelled with item, size, material, heat number and PO reference.
Documents
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, MTCs and any buyer-specific documents are prepared as per the order.
Modes
Courier for urgent shutdown spares, air freight and sea freight (LCL/FCL) from Mumbai.
Warranty & returns
Products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to conform to the agreed specification for 12 months from dispatch.
Claims must be raised in writing with photographs, heat number and PO reference.
Confirmed manufacturing defects are replaced or credited at our option.
The warranty does not cover wrong material selection by the buyer, improper installation, over-torquing or service outside the stated conditions.
Custom-made items cannot be returned except for manufacturing defects.
Technical disclaimer
Dimensions, torque values and material data on this website are taken from the Metalok Header Plugs catalogue (Aug 2026) and are given for guidance. Final dimensions, tolerances and material grades are as per the order acknowledgement and approved drawing.
Recommended torque values are minimums for carbon steel with proper installation; consult Metalok for other alloys.
Product suggestions from the Application Finder are general guidance and do not replace the plant's own engineering review.
Product photographs are representative; finish and marking may vary by grade and order.
